A side filer works the opposite way round to a filing cabinet: wide and shallow rather than narrow and deep. That makes it the better answer where floor space is at a premium, because it needs far less clearance in front of it to open a drawer fully — and in a tight office, the space in front of the furniture is the space you are actually short of.
This model has 2 drawers, each designed for suspension filing and able to take A4 lateral filing as well. A fully welded carcass means no bolts and no rivets: greater strength, a cleaner line, and nothing to work loose over a decade of daily use.
A mastered lock with 200 differs secures the drawers, which matters where personnel records or client files are stored, and makes key management workable across a floor of units rather than a drawerful of unmarked keys.
