A draughtsman chair that still adjusts three ways
Working at a bench, a counter or a drawing board means an ordinary office chair leaves you perched with your feet dangling and your back unsupported.
This is the Eclipse Plus I on the hi rise draughtsman kit: a longer gas lift taking the seat from 610mm to 860mm, and an adjustable footring so your feet still have somewhere solid to rest. The column itself ranges from 1010mm to 1350mm overall.
Above the base it is the standard Plus I, which matters because a chair at bench height needs more adjustment, not less. The seat slides forward and back, the backrest raises and lowers, and released it free floats and follows you as you shift. The seat is dished with a waterfall front edge and the chair is rated for a full eight hour working day at up to 125kg.

CLEAR THE BENCH
Hi rise gas lift
The seat rises from 610mm to 860mm, so it clears a bench, counter or drawing board rather than a standard desk. Set the seat first, then drop the footring to meet your feet.
ROOM FOR YOUR LEGS
Seat depth adjustment
The seat slides forward and back, so you can leave a couple of fingers’ gap between the seat edge and the back of your knee. It matters more at bench height, where your legs take more of your weight.
OR LET IT MOVE WITH YOU
Free float backrest
Release the back and it follows you as you shift, keeping contact instead of pushing against you. Lock it anywhere you like when you want a fixed angle.

Height-adjustable backrest
The back raises and lowers independently of the seat, so the lumbar curve meets the small of your back rather than somewhere near it.

CHOOSE YOUR ARMS
No arms, loop, height-adjustable or folding
Select your arm option above. Loop arms are a fixed, one-piece armrest; height-adjustable arms raise and lower to bring your forearms level with the work surface. Folding arms fold up out of the way so the chair tucks under a bench.
