A mesh back operator chair that adjusts around the person
Most operator chairs are bought in quantity and then sat in for years, so what really matters is whether they adjust properly and keep on doing it.
A mesh back moves air instead of trapping it, which is the difference between a chair that is comfortable at nine in the morning and one that is still comfortable at four in the afternoon. The Eclipse Plus II mesh back pairs that with a twin lever mechanism controlling the gas lift and the backrest separately, so the back locks at any angle you like or stays in permanent contact as you move. The back raises and lowers as well, putting the lumbar curve against the small of your back rather than somewhere near it.
The seat is dished with a waterfall front edge to take pressure off the back of the thigh, and the chair is rated for a full eight hour working day at up to 125kg.

SET TO YOUR HEIGHT
Gas height adjustment
Raise or lower the seat until your feet are flat and your thighs are level. The first adjustment to make on any chair, and the one most often left where the last person put it.
FIND YOUR ANGLE
Backrest tilt and lock
The twin lever mechanism reclines the mesh back and locks it at any angle. Leave it unlocked for permanent contact and the back follows you as you move.

Height-adjustable backrest
The back raises and lowers independently of the seat, so the lumbar curve meets the small of your back rather than somewhere near it.
SHOULDERS DOWN
Height-adjustable arms
Where arms are specified they raise and lower, so your forearms sit level with the work surface and your shoulders drop. Loop arms and folding arms are both available instead.

Three fabrics and a bonded leather
Black, Blue and Charcoal are hard-wearing upholstery fabrics on the seat, with the mesh back in black throughout. Black Bonded Leather is a leather-faced finish that wipes clean.
CHOOSE YOUR ARMS
No arms, loop, height-adjustable or folding
Select your arm option above. Loop arms are a fixed, one-piece armrest; height-adjustable arms raise and lower to bring your forearms level with the work surface. Folding arms fold up out of the way, so the chair pushes right under a desk and saves space.
