Lumbar support you inflate to your own back
A moulded lumbar curve is a compromise with the average spine. This version of the Eclipse Plus II replaces it with an inflatable pump: squeeze the bulb until the support meets your back, let air out if it is too firm.
It suits anyone whose comfort changes through the day, and it suits shared desks, because the next person can set it for themselves in a few seconds without hunting for a lever.
Everything else is the standard Eclipse Plus II. A twin lever mechanism controls the gas lift and the backrest separately, so the back locks at any angle or stays in permanent contact as you move, and the backrest raises and lowers as well. The seat is dished with a waterfall front edge and the chair is rated for a full eight hour working day at up to 125kg.

SET IT BY HAND
Pump lumbar support
Squeeze the bulb to inflate the lumbar pad until it meets your back, and release air to soften it. No lever to find and no fixed curve to live with.
SET TO YOUR HEIGHT
Gas height adjustment
Raise or lower the seat until your feet are flat and your thighs are level. The first adjustment to make on any chair, and the one most often left where the last person put it.
FIND YOUR ANGLE
Backrest tilt and lock
The twin lever mechanism reclines the backrest and locks it at any angle you choose. Leave it unlocked for permanent contact and the back follows you as you move.

Height-adjustable backrest
The backrest raises and lowers independently of the seat, so the pump sits against the small of your back rather than somewhere near it.

CHOOSE YOUR ARMS
No arms, loop, height-adjustable or folding
Select your arm option above. Loop arms are a fixed, one-piece armrest; height-adjustable arms raise and lower to bring your forearms level with the desk. Folding arms fold up out of the way so the chair tucks right under a desk.
