A larger operator chair, set to the person sitting in it
A chair that fits a smaller person badly is uncomfortable. A chair that fits a larger person badly gets replaced within the year.
The Eclipse Plus XL is built wider and taller throughout: a 530mm seat against the 490mm of the standard Eclipse, a back reaching 640mm, and a frame 670mm across. It also carries a weight tensioner, so the recline resistance is set to the person rather than to an average, and seat and backrest angles adjust independently of each other and lock where you put them.
The seat is dished with a waterfall front edge to take pressure off the back of the thigh, and the chair is rated for a full eight hour working day at up to 125kg.
These are built to order rather than held in stock, so allow around ten working days.

SET TO YOUR HEIGHT
Gas height adjustment
The seat runs from 440mm to 560mm. Raise or lower it until your feet are flat and your thighs are level before touching anything else.
SET IT TO YOUR WEIGHT
Weight tensioner
The recline resistance winds up or down to match the person sitting in it. Too stiff and the back never moves; too loose and it drops away behind you. This is the adjustment most chairs leave out.

Independent seat angle
The seat angle adjusts and locks on its own. Tilt it forward to open the hip angle when you are working close to the desk, or keep it level when you sit back.

The backrest angle is controlled separately from the seat and locks anywhere you set it, so you are not forced into one compromise between the two.

Select your arm option above. Loop arms are a fixed, one-piece armrest; height-adjustable arms raise and lower to bring your forearms level with the desk. Folding arms fold up out of the way so the chair tucks right under a desk.
