A fixed pedestal workstation for permanent desks
Where a desk has a permanent occupant, a fixed pedestal keeps everything exactly where it belongs. This bundle pairs the Core double upright rectangular desk with a fixed under desk pedestal, in two or three drawers.
The desk stands on the Core steel double upright cantilever frame, with two uprights at each end for extra rigidity. Its 25mm wood top comes in seven sizes from 1200 x 600mm to 1800 x 800mm, with a matching 18mm modesty panel, two 80mm cable ports and adjustable feet, and it is rated to 120kg.
The fixed pedestal sits under the desk and stays put, with two or three lockable drawers that take A4 and foolscap files. Its timber is FSC certified.

TWO UPRIGHTS, NOT ONE
Double upright cantilever frame
A 25mm steel tube profile with a 1.5mm wall, doubled at each support, so the desk stays rigid even with a monitor arm and a full working load.
TIDY BY DESIGN
Two 80mm cable ports
One port in the top and one in the modesty panel, so leads drop straight through rather than trailing over the edge.
STAYS PUT
Fixed under the desk
No castors to roll away, so the pedestal stays in position under the desk it belongs to.
TAKES REAL FILES
A4 and foolscap
Two or three lockable drawers that take A4 and foolscap files, in FSC certified timber.

Specified for round-the-clock use and a 120kg load, which covers a full monitor arm setup, a docking station and everything else that accumulates on a working desk.
