Our panel rectangular desk is the straightforward workhorse of the range — a clean rectangular top on a frame built to take daily use, in sizes to suit anything from a compact second position to a main working desk.
Panel desks sit on solid panel ends rather than a metal frame. That gives a cleaner line than a cantilever leg, hides the underside of the desk from the room, and — because the panel runs to the floor — removes the leg people otherwise have to negotiate when they pull a chair in.
A fixed pedestal stays where you put it. Where a desk has a permanent occupant that is the better answer than castors — nothing rolls away and nothing needs chasing back.
Panel legs and modesty panels are finished to match the desk top, so the desk reads as one piece rather than a top on a frame. Integrated grey cable ports keep cabling off the surface, metal to metal fixings give the frame its rigidity, and adjustable feet handle uneven floors.
The top is 25mm heat and stain resistant MFC with protective edge banding — the edge is where a desk shows its age first, and banding is what prevents it.
Our wooden desking is FSC certified with a full chain of custody, so you can furnish your workspace knowing the timber has been responsibly sourced.
