THE SHAPE OF A GOOD MEETING
Description
A barrel top curves outward at the middle, which sounds cosmetic and is not. Everyone seated can see everyone else without leaning forward — on a long rectangular table the people at the far corners are effectively out of the conversation.
Slanted solid wood legs give the Plateau range its look and, more usefully, keep the space beneath the table clear. Nobody has to negotiate a leg to pull a chair in, which on a table seating eight or more is worth more than it sounds.
Available in 2000 x 1000mm and 2400 x 1200mm, seating eight and ten comfortably. Eight top finishes match the wider Plateau range and suit office and educational settings equally.
