Sustainability

Our Responsibility
As part of our responsibility to the environment, we select our suppliers and work closely with those who are most committed to reducing the environmental impacts of furniture manufacturing. Earth only has a finite amount of resources and helping our customers save the planet has been part of our ethos since 2008. Our sister companies Carbon Neutral Printers and The Green Office have been leading the way with conscious services in the photocopier and supplies sectors, which is why we thought it prudent we find a way to reduce furniture waste.
Zero Landfill Scheme
We are on a mission to divert as much redundant office furniture from landfill as possible for all organisations and businesses. Our goal is simple. Prevent excess office furniture from ending up in landfills. We aim to reduce waste and promote sustainability in the work place by diverting these items. It’s a crucial step towards a greener and more responsible practice and future.
In recent years, there has been growing concern about the impact of waste on the environment. Landfills are a significant source of pollution, and the amount of waste generated by businesses is only increasing. To address this issue, we have taken it upon ourselves to initiate a mission to reduce the amount of redundant office furniture that ends up in landfills. Our aim is to provide UK businesses with a solution for their surplus office furniture, diverting it from landfills and repurposing it for other uses. By doing so, we not only reduce the environmental impact of waste but also promote sustainable practices in the corporate world. This mission is a step towards a more responsible and sustainable future, where waste is reduced, and resources are conserved for future generations.

We aim to highlight the positive results of your commitment to sustainable practices.
By prioritising sustainability in these areas, your organisation can not only contribute to creating a healthier environment but also achieve a significant cost saving. This report provides a detailed analysis of each area, presenting the actions taken, the outcomes achieved, and the potential for future savings. The results presented in this report unequivocally demonstrate that your organisation’s dedication to sustainability is not just good for the planet but also for your bottom line. The findings show that implementing sustainable practices can help your organisation cut down on costs while simultaneously reducing its Environmental impact.
Refurbish, Reuse or Recycle
Choose wisely. It’s an important decision for any business but the numerous benefits for both business and environment make these practices essential.
You can reduce your waste by reusing and refurbishing your furniture. Divert damaging items from landfills and reduce the overall waste generated by your business. It should go without saying that manufacturing new furnitre requires significant resources, including materials and energy. Conserve these resources by reusing and refurbishing.
