Description
The Arc 4 Leg Chair is one of a small number of classroom chairs certified to both parts of BS EN 1729 — strength and stability, and ergonomics. Compound curves in the shell do the work: the seat and back are shaped rather than flat, which is what makes a chair bearable for a full lesson.
The single injection-moulded shell carries an antimicrobial additive proven to kill bacteria and inhibit fungal growth, plus a fire-resistant additive, and it is 100% recyclable at end of life. A powder-coated steel frame gives a 115kg weight tolerance, so it holds up to sixth formers and staff alike.
Lightweight with a moulded easy-grip handle, it stacks four high. Two sizes, seven colours, and the wider Arc family shares accessories including seat pads and arm tablets.
Where a chair has to work for a full timetable rather than a single lesson, the compound curves and the dual certification are what a school is paying for. It is the difference between pupils enduring a chair and simply not noticing it.
