A classroom chair that moves with the lesson
Rooms that change layout several times a day need chairs that move without being carried. This one puts the braced Arc shell on four castors, so a class can regroup in seconds.
The shell is injection moulded polypropylene with a glass fibre content for stiffness, on a powder coated steel frame. It carries an antimicrobial additive, a fire resistant additive and a 115kg weight tolerance, and the whole shell is recyclable at the end of its life.
It is certified to both parts of BS EN 1729, the education seating standard covering strength, stability and ergonomics.

ONE MOULDED SHELL
Single shell construction
Injection moulded in one piece, with compound curves shaping the back and seat so the chair flexes where it should and stays rigid everywhere else.
ON CASTORS
Four castors and a brace
Four castors make the chair easy to move and steer, and the braced frame keeps it rigid despite the extra movement.
EASY TO KEEP CLEAN
Antimicrobial and fire resistant
The polypropylene carries an antimicrobial additive that kills bacteria and inhibits fungal growth, plus a fire resistant additive. It wipes clean and is 100% recyclable.

Parts 1 and 2
Tested against both parts of the education seating standard, covering strength and stability as well as ergonomic requirements.
